Tigers stay perfect in CLC with sweep

HGHS, 27-3 overall, was ranked No. 2 in the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association Division 3 poll last week.

Samantha Yancy led the Tigers in kills with nine and Samantha Black contributed seven. Autumn Risch had a team-high 27 assists. Brittany Schaller paced HGHS in digs with 20 and Risch had nine.

“Thursday night was an awesome atmosphere for the team to compete in. We want to thank the student body for their continued support throughout the year. Again, it was a complete team effort,” said Tiger head coach Brett Damrow.

“It was homecoming week and we had a couple lapses mentally but our excitement and enthusiasm carried us through. I was proud of how we started the match with great focus.”

Emma Richards paced the Warriors in kills with seven and blocks, four. Emily Janke had a team-best six assists. Jessika Dieringer led in digs with six.
