The loss dropped the Resorters’ Central Lakeshore Conference dual record to 1-6. Elkhart will conclude its regular-season CLC dual schedule Thursday, Oct. 9 at Ozaukee. Random Lake raised its league record to 4-2.

Paulus also had a team-high four blocks to go with 12 digs. Kendra Bullard led the Rams in assists with 15 and digs, 19. Bullard also contributed nine kills.

Rachael Flora paced the Resorters in kills with nine, followed by Emma Feldmann and Meghan Clemens with four and three, respectively. Emily Holzmann had a team-high 12 assists.

“We played solid in the match but we were emotionally flat for the entire night,” said Resorter head coach Jim Brown.

“We passed well and set well and attacked but just didn’t score. It just was one of those nights.

“The ball seemed to be an inch or two out instead of in and we just couldn’t get any emotion going. Some of that may have been Random as they are big at the net and a solid team,” Brown said.
