Another brick on the walk

More bricks were added to the Plymouth Veterans Walk in Veterans Park Saturday by DuWayne Wieck of the Ladewig- Zinkgraf American Legion Post 243, as family members and others looked on (below). One of the bricks honored Plymouth resident Antone Costa, 90, who was an Army medic in World War II and was taken prisoner at the Battle of the Bulge in December, 1944. Wieck showed Costa the wording on his brick (below right) before placing it on the walk (right and cover). Others honored with bricks placed Saturday included Robert Grimes, Allen L. Lisowe, Chuck T. Lisowe, Ervin Lisowe, Willaim Paese, Glenn Schlundt and Jimmy Tanner. Bricks to honor veterans of military service may still be purchased at Plymouth City Hall.
