Grabinski 50th wedding anniversary

Jerry and Chick Grabinski celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at the Greenbush Town Hall. They were surrounded by 120 guests including family and friends that came from all over Wisconsin, Minnesota, Florida, Texas, Mississippi, Indiana and a niece from Germany. Four members of the original wedding party also attended.

They were married Sept. 26, 1964, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth by the Rev. Melvin Macoskie.

The couple have five children, Jerry Jr., Christopher, Denise, Mark and Dallas. They are the proud grandparents of 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

They are both retired, Jerry from Kohler Co. and Chick from the Aurora Clinic, Plymouth and later Bridgepoint Mental Health Clinic in Sheboygan. She also worked part time for a pulmonologist, Dr. Michael Perlmutter in Fond du Lac.

Jerry is the son of the late Verdon and Dorothy Grabinski of La Crosse, and Chick is the daughter of the late Bill and Alice Carver of Plymouth. Chick and Jerry now reside in rural Glenbeulah.
