To the Editor,

Halloween is almost here, and scary Glenn Grothman is right in season in his “campaign mask”. He moved into the District to run and eked out a win in the primary, but refuses to debate his opponent, Mark Harris; refuses to be interviewed and will only answer questions by e-mail so it’s anyone’s guess who is actually providing the answers. The long-time Republican Congressman he is trying to replace refuses to support him.

But Mark Harris is anxious to debate, is not afraid to grant interviews and let voters know his positions on issues. Why is Grothman hiding? What doesn’t he want us to know? Maybe we know too much already. We already know that he has taken extremist positions on most issues, like “giving workers a day off is ridiculous”. Scarrrry.

As a conservative independent, I am in agreement with Mark Harris’ positions on issues, like fixing Social Security and reducing the debt and deficit. Mark Harris will be a pragmatic, thoughtful Representative. On November 4th, I’ll be voting for Mark Harris, and I hope you will, too.
