This special moment recently happened by the adding of 28 more names but there are still 1,400 more names which need to be added.

The remaining names are from veterans ranging from World War I through Desert Storm, Afghanistan.

A note of interest is that one of those names is that of a general that served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam.

The Sheboygan County Veterans Memorial Committee would like to see those names placed in their proper honorary place, but they need to buy and erect another stone.

They have one donor who has pledged $5,000, but a stone costs $40,000, so this project is currently on hold until the amount is met.

Those interested in learning more about donating or about the memorial itself, can contact Veteran Allen Nohl at 920-207-1196 or visit www.scvmemorial.org
