Messer and his wife, Merita, spearheaded the ambitious project in October 2012 as he began his one-year term as the district governor of all Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Kiwanis Clubs.

To date, 650 iPads have been donated to autistic children in the district to aid them in learning, communicating and expanding their world through specific software that pinpoint each person’s needs.

Kiwanis fundraising throughout the year directs money to support this program now in its third year.

Over $280,000 has been raised in the district since the program began.

Persons interested in joining the Kiwanis Club of Sheboygan Falls may inquire via P.O. Box 42, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085.
