Bonita “Bonnie” Zeeveld, age 64 of Cascade, WI passed away early Thursday evening (Nov. 20, 2014) at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls following a courageous battle with leukemia.

She was born on March 20, 1950 in Ashland, WI, a daughter of the late Ernest Sr. and Helen (Daley) Maunu.

Bonnie graduated from Washburn High School in 1968. She attended Lakeshore Technical College.

On March 19, 1971 she married John Zeeveld at Hingham Reformed Church. The couple has resided in the Plymouth/ Cascade area since their marriage.

She was employed at Aurora Medical Center in Plymouth working with many doctors and staff retiring after 35 years in February of 2014.

Bonnie was a 4-H leader for the Kettle Moraine 4-H and the Touch of Class 4-H groups.

She enjoyed counted cross-stitch, reading, baking, playing hand held games and attending her grandchildren’s many activities.

Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years: John of Cascade; children: Pat (Becky) of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Mike (Angela) Zeeveld of Cascade and Joanne (Ben) Moehr of Brillion, WI; six grandchildren: Tony and Nick Zeeveld, Zack and Austin Zeeveld and Ian and Connor Moehr; six brothers and sisters: Virginia (Earl) Frank of Michigan, Linda Dunkley of Minnesota, Ernest Jr. (Helen) Maunu of Illinois, Doris Jensen of Wisconsin, Carolyn Maunu of Wisconsin and Stacey (Ken) Long of Illinois and two sisters-in-law: Carol (Neil) Pietenpol of Wisconsin and Marjorie (Ron) Cook of Wisconsin.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Arlene Basina and two brothers-in-law: Paul Zeeveld and Duane Dunkley.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday evening (Nov. 25) at 8:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Wayne Bittner will officiate. Cremation has taken place.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Tuesday (Nov. 25) from 4:00 P.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Bonnie’s name.
