Falcons fall in girls hoops opener

FREEDOM - The Sheboygan Falls High School girls basketball team dropped its season opener 47-32 to Freedom Tuesday, Nov. 18.

Freedom set the pace early in the game with a 12-3 outburst in the first quarter and extended its lead to 25-12 by halftime.

The Falcons played better in the second half. However, they were unable to cut into the large lead by the Irish. Taylor Gard led Freedom in scoring with nine points and Samantha Schumacher added eight points.

Becky Raeder led Falls with nine points and teammate Nicole Preder collected eight points.
