Elkhart shot a blistering 61 percent (17 of 28) from the field and scored several baskets on fast breaks, including some off steals. The nonconference victory stretched the Resorters’ winning streak to three and raised their record to 5-7. The Indians dropped to 7-6.

“The defense set the tone and we were able to get easy transition baskets [in the first half],” said Resorter head coach Donny Kulow.

“We were able to get quality minutes for the reserves and they made the most of them. I was real happy with the way everyone played. A nice team win and good balance.”
