Two Plymouth teachers nominated for Kohl awards

Litt teaches food science and culinary arts classes at Plymouth High School; Sell teaches culinary arts classes at Riverview Middle School.

A CESA 7 Selection Committee reviewed their applications and forwarded them to the Kohl Foundation, which is expected to announce this year’s recipients in March.

The Kohl Teacher Fellowship Program annually awards 100 Wisconsin teachers with Kohl Fellowship grants, and each Kohl Fellowship recipient’s school receives a matching grant; beginning in 2015, the amount of the grants has been increased from $1,000 to $3,000. Fellowship recipients are considered for the Wisconsin Teacher of the Year program, which honors one teacher in each of four categories.

PHS chemistry teacher Jay Grosshuesch won a Kohl Teacher Fellowship in 2014.
