FREDERICK H. FINTELMANN

Frederick H. Fintelmann, age 79, of the Town of Herman died on Friday, February 6, 2015 at his home.

He was born on August 19, 1935 in the Town of Herman son of the late Louis and Ella (Roethel) Fintelmann.

He attended Franklin Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School. He furthered his education in the ROTC Program at Marquette University in Milwaukee.

On February 6, 1954 he married Lindoris Henning at Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth.

He was a lifelong member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in the Town of Herman, and a volunteer firefighter for the Franklin Fire Department.

Frederick was a structural engineer for 51 years. During his working career he for a short time worked on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. Frederick also owned and operated a small dairy farm.

In his free time he enjoyed playing Skat, and was an avid Packer and Badger fan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Lynn, five children; Charlotte Werthmann of Neenah, Vanessa (Mark) Thieleke of Howards Grove, Tracy Fintelmann of Oshkosh, Jeff (Julie) Fintelmann of Howards Grove, Michelle (Jeff) Kleppek of Green Bay, 8 grandchildren; Rachel (Sean) Moderson, Rebecca Werthmann, Andrew Thieleke (friend Jill Martin), Elliot Thieleke, Katie Fintelmann (special friend Cody Walters), Jenna Fintelmann, Hunter and Ben Kleppek, two great grandchildren; Mackenzie and Layla Moderson, a sister; Marie (Bill) Bertschinger and his beloved canine friend Finny.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law; Rev. Lloyd Werthmann, a grandson; Seth Fintelmann 3 brothers; Henry, Harry and Carl, and a sister; Ruth.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Immanuel United Church of Christ in the Town of Herman with the Rev. Laura Yurs offi ciating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday at the Church from 10 AM until the time of service. Schneider Funeral Home & Life Tributes has been entrusted with the arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established in the name of Frederick H. Fintelmann for Immanuel United Church of Christ.
