The CLC titles are the first for all three Resorters.

Bonebrake won the 138-pound championship and set a school reby cord for career wins with 131, surpassing the old mark of 127 by Kyle Rentmeester, a 2012 EL-G graduate. Bonebrake won two matches Saturday by pin and another by a 7-0 decision. He also received two byes.

A round-robin format was used at each weight class to determine the champion.

Rebedew earned the crown at 145 – scoring two falls and a 6-4 decision, plus two byes.

Miller was the 182 champion. He had one pin, an 11-3 major decision, and a 5-3 decision in the finals to go with two byes. He earned his 100th career victory in the finals with a win over Random Lake’s Jordan Houpt.

Oostburg dethroned three-time defending CLC champion Random Lake. The Dutchmen led the field with 221 points and had four champions. Random Lake took second with 197. Elkhart placed fourth at 108.

“We had a great performance from the seven wrestlers who wrestled today,” said Resorter head coach Larry Ward.

“I’m very happy for Brock to break the school record. Brock is a very classy kid as is Kyle Rentmeester who had held the record.

“Trevor was on a mission today. He wrestled great every second of every match,” said Ward.

“Nick wrestled very well. Nick is peaking at the perfect time as well.”

Also competing for the Resorters were Max Ward, a third-place finisher at 120; Troy Rebedew, third, 152; Jared Shaw, fourth, 160; and Alex Navis, third at 220.
