EDWARD L. REILLY

Edward L. Reilly, age 54 of the Town of Mitchell passed away surrounded by loved ones at home on February 13th, 2015.

He was born on September 11, 1960 in Parnell, WI to Lawrence Reilly and the late Patronella (Konwent) Reilly.

He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1978.

On October 22, 1983 Edward married Donna Menzel, from Beechwood, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in the Town of Mitchell.

Edward Reilly was a fifth -generation farmer who started by working alongside his father, Lawrence, on the family farm in the Town of Mitchell. Edward was eventually able to realize his dream of running his own farm and spent the better part of the last 20 years as a self-employed farmer that owned/operated a 70-cow dairy farm north of Parnell.

His too short life was dedicated almost entirely to his family and farm. He enjoyed nothing better than taking his children, nieces and nephews on tractor rides or showing them the animals that he cared for on his farm. He also enjoyed watching Wisconsin sports and was an avid fan of the Brewers, Packers, Bucks and the Badgers.

Survivors include his wife: Donna of Town of Mitchell; three children: Aric (Nicole) Reilly of Madison, Lindley Reilly of Cascade and Bryan Reilly of Waldo; one grandchild: Noah Reilly; father: Lawrence Reilly of Cascade; three brothers: John (Karen) Reilly of Boston, MA, Lawrence (Shelly) Reilly of Hingham and Michael Reilly of Fond du Lac and two sisters: Katherine Reilly of Oshkosh and Laura Reilly of Cascade.

He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relative and friends that loved him very much.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Patronella Reilly; two sisters: Patty Staples and Mary Reilly and other family members.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 1:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Wayne Bittner will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Mitchell.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Edward’s name.
