Marcy Korchunoff went home to be with the Lord on February 27, 2015 at the age of 93.

She was born on June 2, 1922 in Milwaukee. She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Pete, on May 24, 1942.

They resided in Fox Point for 54 years where they raised four children: Lynn, Darel, Dale & Kim.

Marcy belonged to the women’s golf league, enjoyed playing cards and hunting for treasures at estate sales. She was involved with the PTA prior to working in the accounting field after her children had grown.

After her husband passed away in 2006 she relocated from Milwaukee to Sheboygan Falls, where she has resided at Pine Haven Christian Home for the past 8 years.

Her children would like to thank the entire staff of Pine Haven for the kind and loving care they provided her.

They are also grateful for the precious friendship their mother had with Harold TenHaken, another resident of Pine Haven Christian Home.

God has a sweet way of enabling a grieving widow and widower to find peace, happiness and companionship a second time around.

Marcy is survived by her four children, nine grand-children and eight great grandchildren. Marcy’s children take comfort in knowing that her last breath on earth was her first breath in Heaven. So “Let not your heart be troubled. In My Father’s house are many mansions. I go there to prepare a place for you so that where I am you may be also. John 14:2-4
