JASON J. BLANKE

Jason J. Blanke, age 38 of Elkhart Lake passed away unexpectedly (March 4, 2015) from a vehicle accident on Highview Road in the Town of Rhine.

Jason was born on June 15, 1976 in Sheboygan, WI a son of Ronald and Mary (Sprader) Blanke.

He attended Plymouth Schools and graduated with honors from Lakeshore Technical College with his HSED. He was involved in the FFA, Plymouth Youth Wrestling program and a member of the Road America Racer’s 4-H club. Jason also attended the Lakeshore Technical College “Learn to Burn”Welding program and graduated 3rd with honors in his class.

On July 22, 2006 he married Tina (Beaudoin) Hall at Community United Church of Christ in Elkhart Lake. The couple has resided in Elkhart Lake since their marriage.

He worked for Broadwind Towers in Manitowoc as a Quality Technician and floor supervisor for the last 4 years.

Jason enjoyed fishing, hunting, cutting wood, his rescued animals and spending time outside with his family and friends. He was an avid woodworker, making many pieces of furniture for his home and family. When not spending time outside, Jason enjoyed watching the Steelers play or catching a really good NASCAR race.

Survivors include: his best friend and soulmate, his wife: Tina of Elkhart Lake; four children: Jaymz Hall (currently with the Marines Corp in California), Paytn Blanke of Plymouth and Karly and Kieran O’Grady of Elkhart Lake; his Parents: Ronald Blanke of Sheboygan Falls and Mary (James) Sprader of Hammond, LA; sister: Ronda (Shawn) Geiger and niece: Emily and nephew: Alec of Plymouth; father and mother-in-law: Harold (Ana) Beaudoin of Sheboygan Falls; step brothers: James (Sandy) Sprader of Hammond, LA, Michael Sprader, Phillip Sprader and Kelvin Sprader all of Belgium, WI; step sister: Rhonda (Tim) Bleichwehl of Grafton; brother-in-law: Dave (Kelly) Beaudoin and sister-in-law: Lily Beaudoin.

He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, step nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents: Jerome and Henrietta (Renk) Blanke, Maternal; Grandparents: Orville Kuhn and Alice (Schaar) and Jerome Schmitz; mother-in-law: Ann Oakley and two cousins: Lisa and Bradley Johnson.

Funeral services were held on Monday evening (March 9th) at 7:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Dan Krueger, licensed lay pastor of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Kiel, officiated. Cremation followed the services.

Friends could call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Monday (March 9th) from 4:00 P.M. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jason’s name.
