Crossroads three-peats as division champion

Crossroads built a big lead early lead and was in control the rest of the way in a rematch of last year’s finals. Crossroads, the No. 2 seed, finished the season with the league’s best record at 12-1.

Ryan Augustine sparked the champions’ attack with 18 points and Christian Johnson chipped in with 12. Brad Feick led No. 2-seeded Van Horn in scoring with 17, followed by Nick Deering with eight.

De O’ Malley’s captured the Lower Division title with a 55-47 win over Nigh Roofing. The game was close throughout with several lead changes before De O’ Malley’s pulled away down the stretch. It marked the fourth straight season that Nigh has finished second in the division.

Nigh, the No. 3 seed, was led by Brad Woelfel with 15 and Nic Giebler, seven.

The playoffs were held in the Riverview Middle School’s Jim Urness Gym.

“The Plymouth Community Education and Recreation office would like to thank all the teams for their participation in this year’s adult basketball league,” said Clayton Moore, Plymouth Community Education recreation and fitness coordinator.
