Dorothy M. Brunmecker, age 91 of Plymouth passed away on Saturday (March 14, 2015) at the Plymouth Care Center.

She was born on May 21, 1923 in the Town of Plymouth, a daughter of the late Carl and Meata Geske Schmoll.

Dorothy attended and graduated from St. John Lutheran Grade School in 1937 and also attended Plymouth High School.

She married Arno Fiebrink on June 21, 1941 in Plymouth. The couple resided at Crystal Lake and Glenbeulah. Arno passed away on July 5, 1966.

She married Harold Brunmecker on March 18, 1967 in Glenbeulah. The couple had resided on the farm in the Town of Greenbush until moving to Plymouth in 1991.

Dorothy was employed at the Glenbeulah Canning Company from 1950- 1951, at Stokley Canning Company from 1950-1963 and the S & R Cheese Company from 1963-1967. The couple then moved and farmed in the Town of Greenbush retiring in 1991.

She was a former member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth and now was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah.

Survivors include her husband: Harold of Plymouth; one son: Bernard (Lynette) Fiebrink of Glenbeulah; two granddaughters: Katherine (Tony) Kostka of Glenbeulah and Michele (Cory) Bertram of Glenbeulah; two greatgrandsons: Matthew (Jessica) Kostka and Carter Bertram; two great-greatgranddaughters: Aubrey and Brenna; three brothers-in-law: Vilas (Donna) Brunmecker of Matoon, WI, Clifford Brunmecker of Birnamwood, WI and David Brunmecker of Matoon, WI and one sister-in-law: Delores Brunmecker of Green Bay.

She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by one sister Marion Becker.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday evening (March 17) at 6:30 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Don Johnson, Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenbush Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Tuesday (March 17) from 5:00 P.M. until time of services.

A Memorial Fund is being established in Dorothy’s name for Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah.
