Kiwanis to launch Ton of Food Drive

The Kiwanis Club of Sheboygan Falls and the Sheboygan Falls Girl Scouts are preparing to kick off the fourth annual Ton of Food Community Food Drive.

This year the Kiwanis Club and Girl Scouts will work together to reach their goal of collecting food to help stock the shelves of the Sheboygan Falls Food Pantry.

Collection bags will be delivered to each household on Saturday, March 21.The bags will be collected on Saturday, March 28, between 10 a.m. and noon. Donations can be left on the front steps or porch for pick-up. Food can be dropped off at Blattner’s Piggly Wiggly and the Chamber- Main Street Office from Saturday, March 21 through Sunday, April 5.

“We can’t thank this community enough for their continued outpouring of support to local families struggling with hunger,” Ton of Food Chair Tim Gumm said.
