Richard Brandon was born on October 13th, 1935 and passed away on February 21st, 2015 at the age of 79.

Founder of Bright Dawn Home Spread Meditation Center, he is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Maryann nee Dony. He was the loving father of the late Dawn (David) Williams, April Holtzman, Melody (Brad) Blackburn. Forrest (Kimberly) Brandon, and Franklin (Janet) Brandon; cherished grandfather of fourteen and great-grandfather of three, dear brother of the late Lillian (Arthur) Lauer; close cousin of Robert (Joyce) Brandon and loving son of the late Elmer and Helen (Kasprzyk). He is also survived by a myriad of friends and associates.

At Richard’s request, his remains have been donated to the University of Chicago Medical School. Memorial Services will be held at Lake Street Church, 607 Lake Street, Evanston, IL on Saturday March 28th, 2015 beginning with visitation with family at 1:00 PM followed by a memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM.
