Robert O. Lueck, age 75, of Las Vegas, NV (formerly of Omro, WI) passed away on March 1st at his home with his family by his side after a long battle with cancer.

He was born January 19, 1940, in Oakpark, IL to the late Roy and Bertha (Jabes) Lueck. On January 28, 1961, Bob married Peggy, the love of his life. They enjoyed 54 wonderful years together.

Bob was a man of many talents and he enjoyed multiple hobbies. He was often found tinkering in the garage or fishing off the dock in the back yard. He loved spending time with family and friends. Ask any one of his grandkids what the secret stash, bagornios, woofel powder or “the brain room” are, and they’ll be sure to have a smile on their face and many stories to tell. Bob worked as a pest control technician before he began a lifelong career in the paper industry.

Bob is survived by his wife, Peggy, two daughters Linda (Dean) Peters, Holly Puhl, one son, Jason Lueck, five grandchildren Aaron (Billie Jean) Castonia, Kaylin (Donovan) Peer, Evan Castonia, Danny Puhl, Ryan (Molly) Puhl and 4 great grandchildren, David, Kevin, Karalynn and Thoran. He is also survived by a special friend of the family, Frank Puhl, three brothers, two sisters and their spouses. Along with his parents Bob was preceded in death by his son, John Lueck.

A private service for family was held in Las Vegas. At Bob’s request, a 50’s themed Celebration of his Life will be held at The Fountain (3696 Sterns Dr., Oshkosh) on April 4th, starting at 1:00pm.
