Helen F. Vogel, 84, of Plymouth, WI, passed away early Wednesday morning March 25, 2015 at Plymouth Care Center where she had been residing for the past year.

She was born on August 30, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of the late Adolph and Pauline (Kuehne) Berger.

She graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee in 1948.

On June 18, 1955 she married Ronald Sherwin of Milwaukee.

She worked at M & I Bank in Milwaukee for 15 years, retiring in 1994.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. She also volunteered at Plymouth Senior Center for many years.

Helen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, she loved animals and volunteering many hours helping others.

Helen is survived by Six children: Ronald (Connie) Sherwin of Plymouth, Linda (Richmond) Hulme of Portland, OR, Steven Sherwin of Plymouth, Mark (Karen) Sherwin of Spokane, WA, Mathew (Mary Ceglarski-Sherwin) Sherwin of Santa Rosa, CA, Lisa (Eric) Bemowski of Casey, IL; 13 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Following Helen’s wishes, a private family service was held at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church officiated.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Helen’s name for the Angel Fund at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
