Falls capped the 2014 season with a 12-11-1 overall record and a 5-8-1 record in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference to finish in fifth place in the EWC.

The Falcons won the Sheboygan County Tourney with a 3-0 record and lost to Plymouth in the WIAA regional semifinals.

Falls head coach Brian Beeck returns for his sixth season at the helm and is very confident with the team’s outlook with four returning seniors and two sophomores leading the way.

All-EWC honorable mention junior Autumn Horn returns along with senior three-year letterwinner Taylor Petrie.

Other returnees include seniors Katie Posewitz, Bailee Liebe, Kaitlyn Hoffman and junior Jessica Riley.

Petrie led the Falcons in hitting with 25 hits, 14 RBI and 21 runs scored.

Newcomers this season include: junior Brittny Thackray, sophomores Taylor Peterson, Amanda Senglaub and freshmen Allison Berger, Breanna Hausler and McKenna Mauer.

“This is the most fundamental team I’ve coached in six seasons,” Beeck remarked. “We should have some strong leadership and I hope that our offense improves throughout the season.”

The Falcons lost six seniors to graduation last year, including second team All-EWC pitcher Ashley Drossel and All-EWC honorable mention outfielder Kelsi Gustafson.
