KRISTINE B. “KRIS” WIMMLER

Kristine B. “Kris” Wimmler, age 48, of Plymouth, WI, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday Evening (April 10, 2015) at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls following a 5-year courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on May 16, 1966 in Detroit, MI, a daughter of Shirley (Mack) Burg and the late Glenn Burg.

Kris attended St. John the Baptist Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1985.

She attended UW-Stevens Point and graduated in Dec. of 1989 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

On February 24, 1990, she married Jay Wimmler at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. The couple has resided in the Plymouth area since their marriage.

Kris worked at Donahue & Associates in Sheboygan, Pick N’ Save in Plymouth, Emquest Veterinary Services in Plymouth, and bookkeeping for the family farm.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth and was a FFA Alumni Officer for Plymouth High School.

Kris enjoyed traveling, camping, any kind of skiing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kris is survived by her loving husband: Jay of Plymouth

Her children: Breanna, Jackson, Joseph and Payten Wimmler of Plymouth

Her Mother: Shirley Burg of Plymouth

Her Father-in-law: Richard Wimmler of Plymouth

Brother and Sisters: Douglas (Bridget) Burg of Florida Paul (Elaine) Burg of Pennsylvania Timothy (Nanci) Burg of New York

Brother and sister-in-law: Brian (Diane) Wimmler of Waldo

She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father: Glenn Berg, mother-in-law: Marge Wimmler, sister: Adele Burg, and nephew: Jordan Wimmler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday (April 16) at 12:30 P.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of the church will officiate. Cremation will follow the services.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Wednesday evening (April 15) from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and also at the church on Thursday Morning (April 16) from 11:30 A.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Kris’ name.
