ARLYLE JOCH

Arlyle Joch, age 94 of Plymouth passed away on February 18, 2015 at Salem Home in Hillsboro, KS.

Born February 13, 1921 to Raymond and Melitta (Kaufmann) Wittkopp.

Arlyle married Harold Joch, a school teacher in 1939. They ran their dairy farm which included an apple orchard that grew 12 varieties of apples. In 1946 they opened their Christmas tree farm and later built their family home.

Arlyle had many years of food service which included the Mitchell Hotel, Dietary Assistant at St. Nicholas Hospital, Arndt’s and the eatery in K-mart. She volunteered at the meal site and St. John’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her large garden and long walks.

Survivors include children Robert Joch, Plymouth, Pearl (Bob) Grundl, Elkhart Lake, Dorothy (Dennis) Borowski, Cecil and David of KY.

Grandchildren, Mark (Eileen) Webb Linae (Tom ) Webb-Klover, Luke (Nita) Webb, Wally (Kay) Joch, Ranae (Travis) Holdorf, April (Rob) Luedke , U.S. Army S.F.C (Ret) Peter LaSage, and U.S.MC. 1st Sgt. Timothy (Jennifer) LaSage.

Great Grandchildren, Quientin ( Kalli) Webb, Clayton (Nicole) Webb, Rachel Webb, Holly, Lucas Klover , Lauren, Nicole Joch, Cole Luedke, Austin, Emily, Brooklen and Stevie LaSage, Jade and Kennedy LaSage. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Husband Harold of 60 years. Sisters, Lucille (Leo) Kapelle and Audrey (Andrew) Wieland, her parents and father-inlaw Charles and mother-in-law Anna Joch.

Private family burial will be held April 17,2015 at Woodland Cemetery in Plymouth. A memorial fund has been established in Arlyle’s name. Schneider Funeral Home & Life Tributes has been entrusted with the arrangements.
