Gregory Stephen Galbari, 63, of Plymouth Wisconsin, joined hands with the Lord on the evening of April 25th, 2015 due to natural causes, while attending the Jefferson Swap Meet and Car Show, one of his most beloved hobbies.

Greg, or “Chic” as he was known in high school, was born January 10, 1952 a son of the late Stephen and Charlotte (Landgraf) Galbari and was a proud lifelong resident of Plymouth. He attended St. John the Baptist Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1970. On June 18th, 1977 he was married to Julie Ann Bonnett and was later blessed with three daughters, whom he deeply cherished.

Shortly after high school, he was employed by Kraft Foods. After years of service to Kraft, he was promoted to the Storage Plant Manager, where he remained until its closing in 1998. Naturally, Greg wasn’t ready to quit the workforce and had several more jobs including Gritt’s Auto Service and Wel Companies, “to supply his hobbies” until he recently retired from Masters Gallery Foods in January of 2015. A strong work ethic was only one of Greg’s endearing qualities.

Besides his work, Greg loved people. He was a big-hearted brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend who selflessly helped others at the drop of a hat. He gave unconditionally to those who needed it. He was an instant friend to anyone he met, and he appreciated the small community of Plymouth that provided the opportunity to catch up with buddies while out and about. Greg treasured the time he spent with his siblings, daughters, grandchildren and friends as well as the travels that ensued. When not with family he was an avid car collector and miniature bowler.

He is survived by his three daughters; Jamie (Matt) Jenkins of San Diego, Katie Galbari of Plymouth and Jennifer (Richard) Allen of North Port, FL and five grandchildren; Taylor, Hunter, Keira, Greyson, and Benjamin. He is also survived by four siblings; Roger (Linda) Galbari of Plymouth, Steff (John) Campbell of Prescott, AZ, Salli Galbari of Plymouth, and Stephen (Sarah) Galbari of Plymouth.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Stephen and Charlotte Galbari.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday evening (April 30) at 5:30 P.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of the church will officiate. Cremation will follow the services.

Relatives and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Greg’s Name.
