Brat Days plans heat up

The 62nd annual Brat Days taking place Thursday, July 30 through Saturday, Aug. 1 at Kiwanis Park in Sheboygan will feature a wide variety of live music.

Several of the musical acts performing at Brat Days this year are winners of a WAMI award (Wisconsin Area Music Industry).

Brat Days continues to present the best of Wisconsin bands and all the diversity of the following 2015 WAMI award-winners:

Conniption won metal band of the year (2nd consecutive year).

The Squeezettes won polka band of the year.

Consult The Briefcase won pop rock band of the year.

Paul Lent (lead singer of Separate Ways -- The Journey Experience) won male vocalist of the year.

Brat Days is a festival with fun for the whole family. The weekend is packed full of activities such as the Brat Trot 5K, Brat Days parade, brat eating contest, Marketplace, Charity Challenge, carnival rides, and Family Area. There will be a tasty selection of foods to enjoy in the Brattastic tent including brat jambalaya, corndog brats, brat eggrolls, brat pizza, brat tacos, and much more.
