WWII vets sought for program

The Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and the Aviation Heritage Center of Wisconsin are attempting to identify as many World War II veterans from the Sheboygan County area as possible for inclusion in a cooperative program scheduled for Aug. 15, the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II.

The program will take place at the Aviation Heritage Center’s facility at the Sheboygan County Memorial Airport, and will include a slide show honoring area veterans, both living and deceased.

World War II veterans and anyone that served in the military during that conflict are asked to contact Director of Development and Communications Angelia Neumann at 920-467-7940, or email at aneumann@ssrhospicehome.org

Veterans or family members of veterans will be asked to provide their name, branch of service and his or her rank and may also include the theater of operations and any honors received.

Photographs are requested for the slide show. Digital images are preferred, but arrangements can be made to convert paper prints, if necessary.
