Ty Struve, Age 42, of Sheboygan, formerly of Plymouth passed away May, 4, 2015.

“This is my life”, by Ty Struve

I was taken to the pearly gates on May 4, 2015, around 7:30 P.M. with my brother Todd and my wife by my side, to be with my dad and grandparents. I am home.

I was born to the late Stan Struve and Janice (Nicolaus) Struve. I was one of 5 boys, number 4, the good looking one. I have had a great life involving many people over the years and organizations I worked in (Plymouth Fire Department, Plymouth Gift of Life and Plymouth Gift Riders).

I graduated from Plymouth High School and later graduated from UTI Tech School in Illinois.

In February 2013, I started Struve Heating and Cooling in Plymouth to serve the community that raised me.

On March 12, 2015, I married Shelly (Pfister) Nigro at the Nicolaus House in Greenbush.

I loved nothing more than to be outdoors hunting and fishing, had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, always supported the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and Milwaukee Brewers, and definitely knew how to dance.

Survivors include his loving wife: Shelly of Sheboygan; Two daughters: Cassidy and Caitlin; Two step-daughters: Nicole and RonniJo; Mother: Janice of Plymouth; Four brothers: Terry (Michelle) of Toledo, OH, Todd (Jenny) of Plymouth, Troy (Special friend: Liza Stoll) of Plymouth, and Tate (Becky) of Plymouth; Father and mother-in-law: Roman Jr. and Karen Pfister of Sheboygan; Three brothers-in-law: Bob (Lynne) Pfister of Sheboygan Falls, James (Melissa) Pfister of Manitowoc, and Brian Pfister of Sheboygan.

Ty is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father: Stan, maternal grandparents: Harvey and Virginia Nicolaus, and paternal grandparents: Hank and Mabel Struve.

Following Ty’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Visitation and Services will be held on Saturday (May 16) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.

Visitation will take place from 11:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. Sharing of stories and memories will start at 5:00 P.M. with a formal service to follow at 6:00 P.M. Rev. Nathan Meador, pastor at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Ty’s name.

Finally, Ty and the family would like to thank the Plymouth community, family, and friends for all the amazing generosity that you put forth making his last year a celebration.
