Local herbs, plants library topic

The Plymouth Public Library will sponsor a program on Wisconsin plants Tuesday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s meeting room. Also included in the program will be information about growing herbs and using them for medicinal purposes.

The speaker for this program is Wisconsin author, Phyllis Heitkamp. She has written several books on plants and herbs. Her published books include, Magic at Oakwell, Wisconsin Medicinal Herbs and The Simplicity of Herbal Health. These will be available for purchase after the program. You will not want to miss this program, especially as you prepare for your spring planting.

This program is part of the library’s 100-year anniversary celebration of the library building. Join us for an evening of information about Wisconsin’s plants, including herbs.
