The Rams bounced back to win the nightcap, 4-0. The teams are tied for the CLC lead with 10-2 records.

Zorn earned a complete-game win as she allowed three earned runs on seven hits with two walks and three strikeouts.

Feldmann drilled a triple and also scored two runs. Rachael Flora contributed two hits for Elkhart.

The Resorters banged out 11 hits against Cathryn Hiller who pitched a no-hitter against them earlier this season in an 11-0 win for the Rams. EL-G was helped by five Random Lake errors.

“Holly was solid. She had them off balance, and her riseball worked well,” said Resorter head coach Brian Feldmann.

“These were two great games. Two great teams battled all night. In the first game, we took advantage of small-ball and mistakes by them.”

EL-G stole five bases in the opener, led by Feldmann’s two.

Jenna Bares and Emma Schimberg led the Rams in hits in game one with two each.

Hiller took the loss and walked one while striking out one. She allowed six earned runs.

GAME TWO

In the second game, Hiller outdueled Zorn. Hiller was the winner with a four-hitter. She walked none and fanned four.

Zorn gave up three earned runs on only three hits with four walks, two hit batters and no whiffs.

Schimberg, Hannah Huiras and Hiller had one RBI each for the Rams.
