RCS Empowers adds chief financial officer, PR manager

RCS Empowers has announced that their growth has created the need for two new positions within the company. RCS has hired their first Chief Financial Officer, Martha VandeLeest and their first Public Relations Manager, Jody Merenick.

VandeLeest joins RCS after working for Jagemann Stamping Company as their Chief Financial Officer for the past 3 years. “I am excited to start a new position within RCS Empowers,” VandeLeest said.

“RCS’s mission statement ‘RCS empowers individuals with disabilities and special needs so they may work, live and function with dignity and respect.’ that speaks to me on both a personal and professional level.”

VandeLeest is a graduate of Lakeland College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Business with a Master’s of Business Administration.

Merenick joins RCS after working for Home Instead Senior Care as their Client Care Coordinator. “I am looking forward to making the community more aware of RCS Empowers and promoting all the programs and business opportunities they have to offer in Sheboygan County,” Merenick commented. “I feel fortunate to be a part of an organization so dedicated to empowering people to achieve their independence.” Merenick is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism.

RCS Empowers celebrates 60 years of serving Sheboygan County residents with day services, 60+ life enrichment classes, prevocational exploration, employment services and the Birth toThree Program.

RCS provides expert retail and private label packaging services, and fills the needs of many manufacturing companies in their subcontractfactory.
