Greenbush Poppy Princess



Carly Kelly (left), daughter of Mike Kelly of Plymouth and Annie Kelly of Plymouth was selected by the Haslee- Doebert-Schmidt American Legion Auxiliary Unit 261 of Greenbush to be their 2015 Poppy Princess. Carly is a sixth-grader at Riverview Middle School. She was introduced at the Memorial Day ceremony held at the Greenbush Town Hall Monday, where she spoke on “The Origin and Observance of Memorial Day.” Her grandfather, the late Edward Lensmire Jr., served in the Korean War and was a member of the Cascade American Legion Post 386.
