Thomas N. “Tiger” Heraty, 68, of Cascade, WI passed away peacefully early Monday morning (June 1, 2015) at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 13, 1946 in Plymouth, WI, a son of the late Norman and Verona (Bilgo)Heraty.

Tom attended Cascade area grade schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1965.

He served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1966-1968 serving in Vietnam.

On April 4, 1970 he married Catherine Kuehn at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in

Plymouth. The couple has resided in Cascade since 1976.

Tom was employed at Gilson Brothers Company in Plymouth, the Kohler Company for over 20 years and then became a Dog Handler and Trainer at the Highland Hunt Club in Cascade.

He was a member of the Ambelang- Ebelt-Lau American Legion Post # 386 in Cascade and belonged to Plymouth Bowling Association, Plymouth Pool League and was a former member of the Cascade Volunteer Fire Department.

He played softball for many years with the Bil-Mar Lanes Softball Team.

Tom enjoyed coaching his daughter Heather’s Softball teams and his son Josh’s little league teams and always enjoyed watching Josh’s softball games in the later years. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and going up north with the group. He loved to dance and especially the polka with his mother. He was an avid fan of all the Wisconsin sports teams.

One of Tom’s most memorable moments was when he finished 2nd at Frank & Rose’s Pool Tournament in Mishicot with a field of over 300 guys.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years: Catherine of Cascade, his children: Heather (Tony) Barber of Plymouth, Josh (Mindy) Heraty of Sheboygan; two cherished granddaughters: Lauren and Harper Jo Heraty; one Sister: Pat (Bob) Becher of Cascade; two brothers-in-law: Steven (Laura) Kuehn of Minocqua, WI, Craig Kuehn of Cleveland, WI.

Tom is also survived by one nephew, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law: Peg and Buck Kuehn.

Prayer service will be held on Friday evening (June 5, 2015) at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of the church will officiate. Cremation has taken place.

Visitation will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Friday afternoon from 3:00 P.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Tom’s name.

The Ambelang-Lau-Ebelt Amercian Legion Post # 386 will conduct military rites at the church following the prayer service on Friday.
