That means the intersection of Mill and Milwaukee streets in downtown Plymouth is open, as well as Mill Street from Caroline Street west and Milwaukee Street from the Mullet River Bridge north to Western Avenue.

This week, crews will be performing clearing and grubbing of trees, concrete saw cutting and pavement removal starting on Caroline and Elizabeth streets. Once the pavement is removed, crew will begin the underground utilities, beginning at Mill Street and working north. Crews are restricted from hauling materials off site on Friday so crews may observe Independence Day on Friday, July 3.

State 67 is closed to through traffic during construction. Access to local businesses and properties will be maintained. The detour through November will see State 67 closed from a point immediately north of the Mill Street (County C) and Caroline Street intersection to Suhrke Road. Traffic will be detoured using County C and State 23.

The 0.84-mile, $3.18 million urban reconstruction project from the Mullet River to Suhrke Road in the city of Plymouth involves reconstruction of State 67 from the Mullet River to Suhrke Road, resurfacing and repairs to the Mullet River bridge, and water utility, storm sewer and sanitary sewer reconstruction along with new concrete pavement.

Meanwhile on State 23 from County Road P to State 32, and interchange ramps to County Road C, State 67 and State 32, work continues this week on sawing joints and partial depth concrete repairs.

Traffic will be controlled via various techniques including: shoulder closures, lane closures, or flagging. Access will be maintained to local businesses and residences.
