JANICE ANN KOHLMANN

Janice Ann Kohlmann (nee Meerstein), 70, of Plymouth,WI passed away at home on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Plymouth on March 9, 1945, daughter of the late Raymond and Leona (Stephan) Meerstein.

On May 11, 1963 she married Joseph Kohlmann at St. John the Baptist Church in Plymouth. The couple has resided in Plymouth since their marriage.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Janice loved reading, crocheting, watching her children and grandchildren’s events and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years: Joseph; three sons: Jeff (Debbie) Kohlmann of FL, Jay (Virginia) Kohlmann of Plymouth and Joel Kohlmann of Batavia; six daughters: Jessica Christensen (Bruce Wood) of Sheboygan, Justine (Brian) McConnell of Oshkosh, Jana Kohlmann of AR, Jeanene (Rick) TenPas of Oostburg, Jody Schaller of Plymouth and Janel Kohlmann (Tyler Gensmer) of Plymouth; 31 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; one brother: Donald Meerstein; step mother: Agnes Meerstein; two sisters-in-law: Delores (Bee) Kite and Linda (Klaus) Wulff.

She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother: James Meerstein; father and motherin law, Otto and Ursula Kohlmann and sisterin law: Rosemary Kohlmann.

Following Janice’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Inurnment will take place in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in her name.
