Patricia Ann Wensauer, 72, of Sheboygan died Thursday, July 2, 2015. Ballhorn Chapels.

Patricia Ann Wright, 69, of Sheboygan Falls died Monday, June 29, 2015. Wenig Funeral Home, Sheboygan Falls. Army serving his country in the Korean War from 1951-1953 where he also played the clarinet in the Army band.

After returning from war he became a member of the Kiel VFW Post #6707.

On October 30, 1954 he married Marilyn Miller.

Marvin worked for GTE (Verizon) for 39 years, retiring in 1991.

He was a life-long member of St. Peters United Church of Christ, Kiel where he sang in the Men’s Choir on Easter Sundays for a number of years. He was a tenor in the Barbershop Chorus.

Marvin took great pride in collecting and refinishing antiques. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, boating and camping at his favorite place, Firefly Lake.

Family was the most important thing to him. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Marvin is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 60 years, Marilyn, four children, Annette (Steve) Rabe, Kiel, Barbara (Terry) Groh, Elkhart Lake, Catherine (Ed “Sparky”) Groh, Wrightstown and Scott (Jen) Jaschob, North Fond du Lac. He is further survived by his grandchildren; Cory Rabe and fiance, Danielle, Angela Rabe, Heather (Rick) Porath, Kayla (Josh) Bardon, Tyler Groh, Brittany and Brandon Groh, Taylor Jaschob (Brittany), Danyelle, Hayley, Caleb and Keely, great grandchildren; Rhyann and Hadleigh Porath, Parker & Amaya Bardon, Sofie Jaschob, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jerry & Marlene Miller, Carol & Ralph Groene, Susan Packer, Paul Stecker, numerous nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, sisters and in-laws, Athneil (Helen) Jaschob, Eleanore (Everett) Buss, Ralph (Margaret) Jaschob, Dorothy Jaschob, Jane Stecker, Lee Miller and great grandson, Carter.

Funeral services for Marvin will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 10, 2015 at St. Peters United Church of Christ, 424 Fremont St., Kiel with Pastor Frederick Trost officiating.

Burial will take place in the Kiel City Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St., Kiel on Thursday from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm. You may also call at the church on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of service.

Kiel VFW Post #6707 will conduct military services at the cemetery. would

Marvin’s family like to extend their thanks to Homecare of Holy Family in Manitowoc, Heartland Hospice in Fond du Lac and Dr. Robert Remington for all their help, compassion and care shown to Marvin.
