GEORGIAN E. NOTTLING

Georgian E. Nottling, 94, formerly of Plymouth, WI passed away late Wednesday evening (July 1, 2015) at her home in Sheboygan.

She was born on October 9, 1920 in Milwaukee, WI, a daughter of the late George and Florence (Doer) Heller.

She attended Holy Angels Catholic Grade School in Milwaukee and graduated from Rufus King High School in 1938.

On June 14, 1941, she married Homer Pierce at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Milwaukee. The couple resided in Milwaukee and Brown Deer after their marriage. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1967.

On November 16, 1968, she married Anthony J. Nottling at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Milwaukee. The couple resided in Plymouth since 1970. He preceded her in death April 10, 2003.

She had been doing volunteer work at St. Nicholas Hospital for 18 years; and did the shopping cart for 22 years which is equivalent to 15,000 hours. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake and belonged to the Christian Women Society in the church.

She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Society and served as president for three years.

She belonged to Plymouth AARP and St. Nicholas Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include her two sons: Thomas Pierce of Las Vegas, Michael Nottling of Seattle; six grandchildren: Terry (Dennis) Jeske of Germantown, Craig (Michelle) Sliwinski of Milwaukee, Jennifer (David) Lopez of Muskego, Tracy Hull of Milwaukee, Kelly (Matt) Bohman of Milwaukee, Joey (Tom) Bloomer of Texas, fourteen great-grandchildren; two great, great granddaughters; one son-in-law: Jerry Sliwinski of Milwaukee; one brother-in-law: Bill Nottling of Howards Grove.

She was preceded in death by one infant son; her daughter Marilyn Sliwinski; one brother Robert; and two sisters: Delores and Virginia and two grandsons: Michael Pierce and Scott Sliwinski.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday Morning (July 9, 2015) at 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 94 N. Lincoln Avenue in Elkhart Lake. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of the Church will officiate and burial will be in the St. Thomas Aquinas North Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Rhine.

Visitation will be on Wednesday Evening, July 8, 2015 at the Suchon Funeral Home, 1317 State Road 67 in Plymouth from 5:00 -7:00 P.M. (there will be no vititation or viewing on Thursday. You are asked to meet at the church at the time of services).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Georgian’s name for The St. Vincent de Paul Society or St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
