Caregiver series set

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a dynamic 6 week educational series designed to provide family caregivers with the tools needed to do self-care, as well as care for a loved one. This workshop is sponsored by the Aging & Disability Resource Center, UW Extension Sheboygan County, and River’s Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center. It will be hosted at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, W2850 State 28, Sheboygan Falls on 6 consecutive Wednesdays starting on Sept. 2, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. A hot meal will be provided at 4:30 p.m. prior to each workshopcompliments of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers helps family caregivers reduce stress, improve self-confidence, communicate feelings better, balance their lives, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources. The cost of the Powerful Tools for Caregivers handbook is $30.00. Scholarships are available and respite for the care recipient may be provided at no cost to the caregiver if eligible.
