Mersberger earns accredited investment fiduciary designation

Zachary Mersberger of Mersberger Financial Group has been awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies (the Center), the standardssetting body for fi360.

The AIF designation signifies specialized knowledge of fiduciary responsibility. The designation is the culmination of a rigorous training program, which includes a comprehensive, closed-book final examination under the supervision of a proctor, and agreement to abide by the Code of Ethics and Conduct Standards.

On an ongoing basis, completion of continuing education and adherence to the Code of Ethics and Conduct Standards are required to maintain the AIF designation.

Mersberger, a resident of Sheboygan, Wis., is a financial advisor for Mersberger Financial Group in Sheboygan Falls. Mersberger focuses on working with high net worth clients as their trusted advisor, designing customized financial plans intended to help clients attain personal and financial goals.

Zach’s duties at Mersberger Financial Group include helping clients work towards planning their financial future, organizing client’s financial lives, conducting portfolio research and assisting clients in all areas of their planning.

Zach has experience in planning for clients in the areas of wealth management, asset protection, estate and retirement planning, as well as retirement income strategies. Zach, along with his brother Josh, implements and maintains the firm’s investment strategies.
