Falls schools ready to open Sept. 1; registration Aug. 4
Parents of students new to the Sheboygan Falls School District who have not already enrolled for the 2015-2016 school year are encouraged to visit the elementary, middle or high school office to enroll your child. Please bring the student’s immunization record and a birth certificate for verification.
Registration is set for Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 11:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. All school pictures will be taken during registration at the high school from 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Students should come prepared to have their picture taken on that day.
Four-Year-Old Kindergarten and Five-Year-Old Kindergarten parents will be invited to come Monday, Aug. 24, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. to meet the teachers and bring your supplies. Students will be receiving their teacher assignment at registration.
The Elementary School will have a supply drop off for grades 1 - 4 Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. Parents and students are invited to come to school, find their room, meet their teacher, bring in their supplies and pay for any fees that you might have.
All fifth- and sixth-grade parents and students are encouraged to attend an Open House from 5 until 6 p.m. in their child’s classrooms Monday, Aug. 24. Fifthgrade students and their parents should meet in the auditorium at 5 p.m. Sixth-grade students and their parents should feel free to visit their classrooms and report to the auditorium at 5:30 p.m.
Seventh- and eighth-grade parents and students are also encouraged to visit their classrooms from 6 until 7 p.m.
A freshman orientation program will begin Monday, Aug. 24, at 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium. All ninth-grade parents and students are invited to attend this orientation program.
Tuesday, Sept. 1 is the first day of school. The information below summarizes the special instructions and procedures for the day:
I. EARLY CHILDHOOD AND FOUR-YEAR-OLD KINDERGARTEN
School buildings and playground areas will be open to students at 7:30 a.m. for the morning session and at 11:55 a.m. for the afternoon session. Supervision will begin at these times each day of the school year. There is no school for 4K on Wednesdays.
II. ALL STUDENTS (K-4)
A. School buildings and playground areas will provide supervision starting at 7:30 a.m.
B. Hot lunch will be served the first day of school. The hot lunch prices are as follows: an individual daily ticket will be $2.20 for Kindergarten through Grade 4, $2.25 for Grades 5 through Grade 8 and $2.45 for High School students.
C. Heidenreiter Bus Service will again provide bus transportation for some students in a very similar manner as in recent years. If you have a specific question concerning bus transportation, please call Heidenreiter Bus Service at 467-2651. Bus transportation will begin the first day of school.

Wednesday dismissal time is 1:55 p.m. Sheboygan Falls Middle School
A.M. Early Childhood and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten – 8 a.m. to 11:05 a.m.
P.M. Four-Year-Old Kindergarten – 11:55– 3:00 p.m.
Grades 5–8 - 7:55 a.m. - 3:14 p.m.
Wednesday dismissal time is 2:08 p.m.
Sheboygan Falls High School
Grades 9-12 – 8 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.
Wednesday dismissal time is 2:15 p.m.
II. SHEBOYGAN FALLS MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS
A. Fifth-grade students should use the Detroit Street entrance.
B. Sixth-grade students should use the Detroit Street entrance.
C. Seventh-grade students should use the east School Street entrance.
D. Eighth-grade students should use the west School Street entrance.
E. All fifth- to eighth-grade students will report to their classroom at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1 for classes.
For your convenience all buildings have a telephone answering system for attendance messages. Leave your name, the student’s name, grade and teacher and the reason for your child’s absence.
All Early Childhood through Grade 4 parents are asked to please call the Elementary School at 467- 7820 for attendance information. Grades 5 through 8 parents are asked to call the Middle School at 467-7880. High School parents are asked to call 467-7890.
