Eunice Magdalene Friederichs (Nee Eigenberger), 97, of Plymouth, WI passed away late Friday evening (July 31, 2015) at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial MedicalCenter.

She was born on March 24, 1918 in Milwaukee, WI, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Wifler Eigenberger.

Eunice graduated from Plymouth High School in 1936 and then attended St. Vincent Infant & Maternity Hospital for schooling in Chicago, Ill.

On October 1, 1949 she married Alfons John Friederichs at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. The couple has resided in Plymouth since their marriage.

Her husband preceded her in death on October 16, 1988.

Eunice was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth and also belonged to the Christian Women Society and the Daughters of Isabella.

She enjoyed traveling, playing in many area card clubs, volunteering at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by: two daughters: Anne (Geoffrey) Alford of LaCrosse WI, Alice (Dennis) McMullen of Plymouth, WI; two sons: Gerald (Marjorie) Friederichs of Jefferson, WI, Noel Friederichs of Plymouth, WI; 13 grandchildren: Jennifer (Dave) Jacobi of Minneapolis, MN, Nathan (Jadrian) Alford of Onalaska, WI, Rebecca Alford of La- Crosse, WI, Emily Alford of Milwaukee, Joshua (Jennifer) Alford of Sparta, Sarah (Alex) Spies of LaCrosse, WI, Jacob Alford and Caleb Alford both of LaCrosse, WI, Daniel and Ryan McMullen both of Plymouth, Greta Friederichs of New York, Hannah Friederichs (Her husband: Seth Truan) of Phoenix, AZ, Peter Friederichs of Phoenix, AZ;four great grandsons: Blake, Logan, Paxton and Kegan; five sisters-in-law: Virgie Eigenberger of Plymouth, WI, Romilda Hertel of Chilton, Jovian Friederichs of Chilton, Kathleen Friederichs of Green Bay, WI, Helen Friederichs of Bellvue, WA,

She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Alfons; one grandchild: Alex Alford; two brothers: Warren (Rosemary) Eigenberger and Jerome Eigenberger; one sister: Doris

(Robert) Miller and many other sister and brothers-in-law.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday afternoon (August 5, 2015) at 12:30 P.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Plymouth.

Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:30 A.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Eunice’s name.
