HAZEL SCHROEDER

Hazel Schroeder, 97, of Greenbush, WI went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in Plymouth.

She was born on December 26, 1917, daughter of the late Edwin and Eleanor (Rosenthal) Schuricht.

She attended Glenbeulah grade school and graduated from Glenbeulah High School.

She married Harold “Sparky” Schroeder on September 20, 1940 at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.

During her working career she worked for the original Osthoff and Schroeder’s Bar-B-Q in Plymouth for over 40 years.

During her free time she enjoyed Saturday lunches with her family and attending any family event she was able to attend.

She is survived by her two daughters, Patti (David) Haese, Cindy (Michael) Riese; a daughter-in-law: Nancy Schroeder; six grandchildren: Michael (Wendy) Schroeder, Jeremy (Kim) Schroeder, Brian (Amy) Haese, Jodi (Troy) Wagner, Matthew Riese, Noelle Riese (Doug Moring); ten great-grandchildren: Taylor, Mackenzie, Delaney and Noah Haese, Halie, Dakota, Isabella and Alexis Wagner, Payton and William Schroeder; a sister: Ruth Schroeder; and a brother: Victor Schuricht.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Sparky; a son: William; three brothers: Elmer, Elwood, and Lawrence Schuricht; and two sisters: Cecelia Spindler and Lilah Greuel.

Funeral Services were held at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth with the Rev. Nathan Meador officiating. Burial followed in the Greenbush Cemetery. Schneider Funeral Home of Plymouth helped with the arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established in the name of Hazel Schroeder for St. John Lutheran Church and School.
