Jammin’ at the Wade House

Visitors to the Wade House got a chance for a real taste of the past as the historic site held their Jams and Jellies event. Staff created raspberry jam, using fruit grown on the grounds, from an 1850s recipe. Visitors then got a chance to sample the sweet results and take home the recipe.
