WILLIAM L. FRITZ

William L. “Bill” Fritz, 70, of Plymouth. WI passed away unexpectedly early Thursday afternoon on August 27, 2015 at his home of an apparent heart attack.

He was born on October 16, 1944 in Plymouth, WI, a son of the late William Sr. and Alma(Behr) Fritz.

He attended Plymouth grade schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1962. On June 6, 1964 he married Ruth Ann Hochrein at St Michaels Catholic Church in Parnell. The couple has resided in the Plymouth area since their marriage.

William worked for Harold Meyer Texaco before going to work at Asplundh Tree Expert Co. in 1964, working there for over 40 years, starting as a Brushy working his way to supervisor.

His hobbies were his cars. He had a 1939 Chevy which he built from parts he would find at Flea Market sales, and also had a 1956 he worked on for many years. He also worked as an usher at Lambeau Field after retirement working there for the past 7 years. He enjoyed hunting with his sons and grandsons. He would help with family projects where needed. He enjoyed his family and grandchildren, their activities and just their visits. William was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church in Eden.

He is survived by his wife: Ruth Ann; three sons: Todd Fritz of Plymouth (special friend, Libby Abler), Troy Fritz of Hartford and Chad (Sarah) Fritz of Sheboygan; one daughter: Natalie (Tate) Hollister of Plymouth; nine grandchildren: Taylor and Dillon Fritz, Alaina and Alyssa Fritz, Jacob, Joshua and Jessica Fritz, Emma and Clara Hollister; two brothers: Ben (Joyce) Fritz of Plymouth and Lloyd Fritz of Plymouth; one sister: Gloria (Myron) Ellis of Grayslake, IL; five brothers and sisters-in-law; Carole Pautz of Sheboygan, Virginia (Will) Boneck of Weyauwega, WI, Claude (Marilyn) Hochrein of Plymouth, Nancy (Mike) Vollmer of Sheboygan Falls, and Wayne (Pam) Hochrein of Mound, MN.

He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his father and mother-in-law: Marie and Lawrence Hochrein.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 12:30 P.M. at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church in Eden. Father Wayne Bittner and Father John Radetski will cocelebrate. Burial will be in St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Parnell. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday, September 2 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in his name.
