UW-S auditions for ‘Rabbit Hole’

All area residents, including UW-Sheboygan students, faculty and staff, are invited to audition for the University of Wisconsin- Sheboygan’s fall 2015 production of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize winning play “Rabbit Hole” by David Lindsay-Abaire. Open auditions will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. September 8 and 9, 2015, in the Fine Arts Theatre on the UW-Sheboygan campus.

The show centers on Becca and Howie Corbett, who have everything a family could ever want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting apart. Rabbit Hole charts the couple’s bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light.

All those interested in being a part of this production are encouraged to audition as no experience is necessary. Those auditioning will NOT be expected to prepare for the audition in any way.

Rehearsals for this production will begin September 21, and those selected for the show must commit to the rehearsal schedule which will be built around availability of the cast once assembled. Performance dates for Rabbit Hole are November 11-14 at 7:30 p.m., which will require rehearsals every evening November 2-14.
