Charlotte S. (Buhk) Wittkopp, Age 95, of Cedar Bay Assisted Living in Elkhart Lake went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.

She was born on September 27, 1919 in Sheboygan daughter of the late Hubert and Juanita (Wert) Buhk.

She graduated from Central High School in Sheboygan. Her love of dancing brought her to Dream Land Ballroom where she met her future husband Marvin Wittkopp. Marvin and Charlotte celebrated 37 years of marriage before he preceded her in death.

In her working years she was employed as a physical therapist for the Plymouth Hospital. Her love of children followed her as she also worked for the Plymouth Youth Center and the Plymouth City Park Concessions. She was a wonderful cook, she enjoyed working for Arndt’s Restaurant and Golf Course and in her senior years she volunteered for the Plymouth Generations Senior Center.

First and foremost Charlotte loved her Lord Jesus and was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. She cherished her family and leaves them with warmth and love. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, knitting, and playing cards with her friends.

She is survived by her children: Karen (Jerome) Otter of Phoenix, AZ, and their children: Bambi (Michael) Yogerst, Bill Richart, and Craig Skelton, Pat (Jim) Davis of Howards Grove, and their children: Michael (Heather)Davis and Tricia (Steve) Redekar, Susan (Bill) Fait of Buckeye, AZ and their children; Robert Fait, Tricia Fait, CJ (Becky) Opitz, and Brian Opitz, Kathy (Terry) Brigman of Mingo, IA and their children; Cody (Jenni) Brigman, and Morgan Brigman, 21 great children and 7 great great grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, siblings:Hubert Buhk, Roland Buhk, Richard Buhk, Howard Buhk, Patricia Block; two grandsons: Robert Skelton and Donivan Fait.

Private family services are being held and her remains will be laid to rest with her husband in the Greenbush Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Cedar Bay Assisted Living staff and the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for the wonderful care and concern show to the Charlotte and her family. The family request that memorial be send to Sharon S. Richard Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.
