Sam Yancy led the Tigers’ attack with 16 kills and Olivia Stauss had 10. Taylor Bubolz had a team-high 29 assists.

Brittany Schaller paced HGHS in digs with eight and Bubolz contributed six. Addi Gerber led in blocks with three.

“It was nice to get a home conference match under our belt. Our fan support has been unbelievable the last couple of years,” said Tiger head coach Brett Damrow.

“Our communication really improved during the match.

“I’m really excited about the development of Taylor and Brittany. Having a libero [back-row specialist] and setter we can count on day in and day out is huge in our development. They touch the ball the most during a match and their continued development is paramount to our success,” said Damrow.

Bubolz is a setter and Schaller plays libero.

Ashley Oberreich led the Crusaders in digs with 15. Julia Splittgerber had a team-high nine assists. Hannah Frey led in kills with seven.
