Comm Ed offers youth yoga class

Plymouth School District Community Education and Recreation is offering a new yoga class for middle-school students.

Register by Friday, Sept. 25 and save $10 on:

Middle School Beginner Yoga: Students ages 10 to 14 can have fun and challenge themselves through movement, stillness, and writing. As they learn to set intentions for both mind and body, they’ll begin to destress through self-acceptance, strength, balance, focus and positivity. Participants should bring a journal or notebook and a pen.

Class will meet with instructor Kaitlynn Kiela, owner of Plymouth Yoga Studio, from 3 to 4 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays from Oct. 5 to 28 in the Riverview Middle School Fitness Center, 300 Riverside Circle. Fee is $30 until Sept. 25, then $40.
