SFSD slates new round of Community Conversations

The School District of Sheboygan Falls is set to host three upcoming Community Conversations sessions covering a variety of topics.

The first session will take place Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 7 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at Sheboygan Falls Middle School, located at 101 School St. in Sheboygan Falls.

The topic for the first session is School District Facilities Plans.

The next program will take place Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at 7 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the Sheboygan Falls High School library, located at 220 Amherst Avenue in Sheboygan, Falls.

The topic for the session will be College and Career Ready Initiatives.

The third session is set for Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 7 a.m., 3:30 and 6:30 pm. in the Sheboygan Falls Elementary School library, located at 1 Alfred Miley Way in Sheboygan Falls.

The third program is titled, “How Can We Welcome New Families .

A majority of the members of the School Board may be present at these meetings to listen, observe and participate.

If a majority of either body is present, their presence constitutes a “meeting” for that Board or Committee under the Open Meeting Law, even though the visiting body will take no action at this meeting.
